Do you know where your suppliers’ logs come from?
All of our logs for sale are from locally-felled trees, and are seasoned for up to 2 years.
If you live in the Weymouth, Portland and Dorchester areas, and are concerned about environmental issues and sustainability, we would love to supply you with your firewood logs. We only supply logs that are produced from trees that we fell or prune ourselves, for local clients. These trees have in many cases been damaged or wind-blown, or have simply grown too large for their space. We make the sustainability claim on two fronts – first, because we plant young, replacement trees for many of our clients, and secondly, because we are not transporting logs over many road (or sea) miles.
