About us
Coastal Tree Care
Coastal Tree Care — trusted Weymouth tree surgeons for crown reduction, felling & stump grinding. Fully insured, BS 3998 compliant. Plus certified Ready to Burn firewood. Call Dale today. We are based in Weymouth, working right across Portland, Dorchester and Bridport, Dorset.
Most people call us tree surgeons, but that undersells it. Tree surgery is really just pruning and felling — a small part of a much bigger trade called arboriculture. As qualified arborists, we plant trees, grow them on, train and prune them, and spot problems long before they become dangerous — then deal with those problems properly.
Tree work, start to finish
Planting, crown reduction, crown thinning, crown lifting, felling, and stump grinding where it’s needed. Whatever stage a tree’s at, we can take it on.
More than trees
Trees are where we started, but not where we stop. We also do garden design and landscaping, grounds maintenance, plant sales, firewood, and ecology and conservation work — which is more than most tree surgeons in Dorset offer.
We’ve worked with Dorset Wildlife Trust on habitat and scrub clearance at sites including Tout Quarry Sculpture Park Nature Reserve and The Verne Local Nature Reserve on Portland, and provided manpower support for the Portland Living Landscapes Project.
If your trees or grounds need sorting, get in touch and we’ll come and take a look.
