As we approach the end of the Portland Living Landscapes project, we have just started to tackle a substantial area of scrub management over a former landfill site. The intention is to remove all of the brambles, buddleja and gorse to enable the establishment of grasses and flowering plants – for the benefit of invertebrates and other families of fauna.
