This mature horse chestnut had extensive decay throughout, and was growing over the neighbour’s garage. Our job was to get it down under complete control, without damaging the lawn either.

Lulworth sycamore
This video features the final stages of a large, mature sycamore dismantle at Lulworth Castle House. Heavy rain on the first day prevented any filming, and meant extra care was required to prevent lawn damage.
Huge Cypress
Slow motion clip of Josh ‘chogging’ down one of the main stems. This 150 year-old tree was a well-loved local landmark, but the owners gained the approval of the local authority to remove it on safety grounds.
Scrub management
This time lapse clip shows Dale and Charlie clearing scrub from Tout Sculpture Park, Portland. The reserve is managed by Dorset Wildlife Trust, and we’ve been engaged on the project for the past three years.
Dead sycamore
Our client wanted us to remove a tall sycamore branch that had died, whilst retaining the stem. With a fence and shrubs beneath the tree, we lowered the branch in sections to prevent any accidental damage.
Tree stump bench seat
Dale has a go at chainsaw-carving a bench seat out of a large tree stump – the product of a recent dismantling job. The final result is more than a little ‘rustic’ but the clients were delighted with it.
Eucalyptus dismantle
Danny’s climbing work goes from strength to strength. Here he’s dismantling a medium-sized Eucalyptus that I reduced a couple of years ago. All logs are processed as firewood, and the chip composted for garden use.
Grounds maintenance
