Do you have firewood Logs for Sale?

YES! All of our logs for sale are from locally-felled trees, and are seasoned for between 1 and 2 years.

If you live in the Weymouth area, and are concerned about sustainability, The Coastal Tree Care team would love to supply you with your seasoned logs. We only supply logs that are produced from trees that we fell or prune ourselves, for local clients. These trees have in many cases been damaged or wind-blown, or have simply grown too large for their space. We make the sustainability claim on two fronts – first, because we plant young, replacement trees for many of our clients. Secondly, we are not transporting logs over many road (or sea!) miles.

The recent growth in the popularity of wood burners in homes has fueled the local market for firewood. Order before winter to ensure your supply of seasoned logs, and you can save money too!

How and where do you source your Firewood?

99% of our logs come from the Weymouth and Dorchester area. If you live locally, we would love to supply you with your seasoned firewood logs. Our logs are sustainably produced by our tree care team, and are seasoned for at least a year.

What happens to all the waste you produce?

We are committed to Sustainable Waste Management. Suitable logs are split into firewood, kept as deadwood habitat or recycled appropriately. Chippings are used as mulch or composted. Customers can decide whether they wish to use them themselves, or get us to dispose of them appropriately. more…

Coastal Tree Care Ltd offer a range of maintenance services that can be individually tailored to your own requirements. If you have a private garden or commercial outdoor space in the Weymouth, Dorchester and Portland area, please give us a call to discuss your individual needs.
